Bigger bonuses. Then once it's time to renew, you downgrade to a no annual fee card.

No matter whatever card you get from them, Cap One is wasted credit inquiries. They like to pull ALL three bureaus. Most other cards only pull one. Nothing Cap One offers is worth 3 inquires on your reports.
Cancel after one year. So effectively a $650 bonus.
Show me a no annual fee card with a ~$650 bonus... I'll wait.

You will also have unlimited access to these lounges.
One more lounge you forgot to mention is the Premium Plaza lounges which is by far the best lounges you can use.
Capital one Venture X card gives free access to Premium Plaza lounges and you can take 2 guests with you too.
Recently we had an international trip and used 4 lounges for 4 people. So we have already got our money's worth for more than 2 years of annual fee😛😛
Oh one more thing to add. Imagine your family has 5 venture x cards, i.e., primary + 4 authorized users. This means that your family of 5 can bring a total of 10 guests. If 15 of you access the capital one lounge at DFW (I live in the DFW area), you're look at a cost of 15 x $65 or $975 just for that one lounge visit!
If I'm traveling alone, can I pick up two random girls traveling that day and escort them in:
No U.S airlines that you can use those points for. To me, this card is useless.
You can use the existing transfer partners to book on 3 of the 4 largest US airlines (United, American, and Delta via Star Alliance, Oneworld, and Skyteam partners respectively).
This is my primary card. Never had an issue redeeming miles either through their portal or applying them retroactively to a flight purchased directly with an airline or travel agency (believe it will find airline charges automatically within 90 days of purchase). You can also just apply the miles towards your statement balance if you don't travel much.
Best travel perk is the free Global Entry/TSA precheck that saves quite a bit of time depending on the airports you frequent.
The Capitol One lounges are only $65 without a card FWIW, and the only one is currently in Terminal D at DFW. Just went last week, was pretty nice. On par with AA's Admirals Club and the like, will be a much better travel perk whenever they finally get around to putting them in more airports.
Aside from that Capitol One's Eno virtual card service is pretty nice and I wish everybody offered something similar.
What do you use Eno for? I have this card but never used the service.
Any one have a breakdown of the miles value in terms of cash back? I'm strictly a Chase Ultimate Rewards guy and that's 1 point = 1 cent... Is this equivalent? Don't need traval just need cash back

According to this, 0.5 cents a mile as cash, potentially up to 1c for other non-travel redemptions-

You can use your points to cover any travel purchases at a rate of 1 cent per point. So you can book any regular airline or hotel and pay like normal and then get credit for it back after by using your points to cover the travel purchases.

What would you consider the best travel partner to transfer points to for this card ?
Compared to UR points, the choices are quite limited with CapOne unfortunately.
There's a 30% bonus converting to Virgin Red right now which can also do Delta flights as well as other international airlines partners.

Converting to cash directly is only half value as this is a travel card so definitely isn't worth it if you aren't planning on traveling.

chase ultimate rewards is much better when it comes to the versatility of cash back conversion. If you're just looking for cash back conversion, you should stick to chase.

This weekend I'll personally try out both the Capital One Lounge and Plaza Premium Lounge at DFW to see which one is better.

Yes, as long as they have a boarding pass that is scheduled to leave within 3 hrs

If you redeem your miles for gift cards, you'll get 0.5 to 1.0 cents per mile.
If you redeem your miles for PayPal, you'll get 0.8 cents per mile.
If you redeem your miles for Amazon, you'll get 1 cent per mile.

The exact info I was looking for. Thanks!
Venture x.
You get $300 travel credit.
10k miles anniversary year.
$100 pre check reimbursement.
Bad is that, limited international flight partners and lounges are limited.
CSP, AMEX gold/plat are better because of more partners. You get venture x if you are capped out on Amex/Chase cards
