Bigger bonuses. Then once it's time to renew, you downgrade to a no annual fee card.

No matter whatever card you get from them, Cap One is wasted credit inquiries. They like to pull ALL three bureaus. Most other cards only pull one. Nothing Cap One offers is worth 3 inquires on your reports.
Cancel after one year. So effectively a $650 bonus.
Show me a no annual fee card with a ~$650 bonus... I'll wait.

Anyone know if there's a lag period of how long you had to have NOT had the Venture card already before you can get the bonus again? I think I had the Venture card a year or so ago.

Late to the party.. I was not able to find this question in the post, so my application got rejected, and this is what I got in the letter "Reason: Based on your credit report from one or more of the agencies, number of bank cards tradelines opened in the last 24 months". Is there any specific rule we need to keep in mind before applying for Capital One credit cards?

Aah, looks like they do have 24/5. Ignore my question.
Regarding booking international flight, would that require transferring to points to British Airways or KLM, Lufthansa, Air France, Virgin Atlantic, in order to book a ticket from US to UK?
What would be the best option to book ticket from US to UK?

No. Actually none of the US airlines partner with CapOne. You can transfer to other international carriers and book through them.
Compared to the CSR & Amex Plat (which this card directly competes against) the VentureX has a lower AF.
Free authorized users, that each get Priority Pass and can bring 2 guests.
$300 travel credit similar to CSR, but more restricted as it is only good for travel via the Cap1 portal.
PreCheck/Global Entry credit.
And pretty good bonus earning categories.
Don't need bots or staff to update one of the most popular travel rewards cards.. 🤣
Pretty sure it's two years

But you can apply Venture X even if you have Venture card. It's is not like Chase where you can have only one Sapphire card

Would you mind defining AF, please? Thank you!
