    Apparently with Capital One, you can only apply for their other venture cards after a 2 year period, if you already have their cards. Just double check on this, because you don't want your credit pulled, and then get denied.

    That's odd. Maybe you've hit some kind of credit limit? When I applied for my latest Chase card, I had to shift credit limit from another card to the new one. My credit score is well above 800.

    Yeah, I thought it might have been because I just got my C1 card in July, but it's been 6 months now so I should be good. Might just be a glitch in their tool. No big deal, because I don't need any more cards or credit.

    Well yeah, I don't need more cards or credit either. It's the bonuses that keeps me coming back.

    Not approved due to too many open lines of credit in the last 24 months. That is a new one for me. Does anybody know if they will reconsider this if you call or if that is a hard no?

    If I already have Venture X card which I got last year for SUB can I still sign up for this one and get the SUB or like chase saphhire ones that is not allowed?

    When does the bonus hit?
    Does the bonus apply to your card at the beginning or end of the fourth month?

    Asking to see if the bonus will come in the middle or at the end of a 2 month backpacking trip haha

    Meh, it depends on individual. Credit pulls for credit card even hard goes away pretty soon. If one has excellent credit score then the pull has no affect as such because they will still be in the excellent zone after the pull and it will bounce back soon.

    Isn't it worth getting Venture X which has 75k point too. The fee is 395 but then it has 300 travel credit so if one can use that then it is better as fee remains same. In addition Venture x gives
    - Tsaprecheck or global entry fee waiver worth 100.
    - Priority pass

    Those are the reasons I got the VX. PP works for me because I mostly fly to Asia, where the lounges tend to have more capacity. Haven't had too much luck with it in US airports.

    The 300 travel credit is kind of a pain to use because almost all of my travel needs to be booked through a corporate travel portal.
