Capital One is offering a 75,000 mile bonus after you spend $4,000 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening with the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card. There is $95 annual fee.

    Avoid trying to apply for this if you got have multiple credit cards already. Too many declines. I don't have a Capital One credit card yet. And I may never apply for one again. Worst experience ever.

    I have a lot of credit cards and not only got this one but also the Cap1 Spark Business card. Was an easy experience for me. Not sure why others have problems. I have 800+ credit rating and have had that for a long time. Maybe that makes a difference?

    does this card allow airport lounge access via priority pass? I believe venture x do have it but not sure if venture has it or not

    If adding this card to WeChat or Alipay for making payments in China, it WILL NOT work. Customer Service acts like they don't know what to do about it. Otherwise, it's a good card.

    no. this card does not have priority pass
    it has 2 complimentary visit to capital one lounges and it ends in 2024

    Dang, I didn't know there were two comp visits to C1 lounges. I could have used that in Feb when I flew thru Dallas. Afaict, the only other C1 lounges are Denver and Washington DC neither of which I expect to be in this year. Am I missing any others? I know I'll be going through Boston, Charleston, SC and New Orleans...

    I applied 2-weeks ago for a CapOne VentureX and got it (FedEx 2-Days), with an 836 FICO. You could have tested to be pre-approved and a soft pull. You may have added too many cards in a short period of time, too many open balances, too high debit/credit ratio, it's hard to tell why denied. You can request a reconsideration.

    No, but you can get the VentureX card with PP Access, a $ 300-a-year travel credit, and more. You get the same 75K Miles at a 4K spend in 3-Months.

    I have a dozen cards, only use about 5 of them, rest only 1-2 charges a year to keep them open. I don't have a CapOne CC yet, and I applied 2-weeks ago for the Capital One VentureX and was approved, and the card arrived at FedEx 2-days later. No hassle at all.

    No, it's not likely they will give you the 75K mile bonus by switching, it's possible, but not likely. You're usually better off getting this on it's own (or VentureX) and then either canceling the other card, or set it aside to keep the line of credit open and charge one small thing every few months.

    they are planning to open one in New York (but not sure on the timeline)
