Capital One is offering a 75,000 mile bonus after you spend $4,000 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening with the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card. There is $95 annual fee.

    I did this once but had the card for over 4 yrs... One point equals $1

    My question is can I do this again?

    If your credit is so bad that hard pulls are going to make a meaningful difference then you a) probably shouldn't be getting credit cards and b) probably don't qualify for cards worth getting anyway.

    They're similar in some ways but I believe the Chase Sapphire gives more options as to what to do with your points if using them for travel. I have both cards (as well as other Chase and Cap1 cards) and I suggest getting bonuses on all of them if you can.

    Does Venture get sent Fedex or standard USPS? I know VentureX gets sent 2 day fedex.

    Capital one allow you to verify eligibility which supposedly does not hurt your credit score before you actually apply for a card. Note that look like ventureX has a separate check so if you want that make sure you find the link to verify for it. I did once and they show me Venture and i had to select i want something else and repeat the process again but the overall process seems smooth to me

    Venture one X. $395 AF. $300 travel credit. 10k points at anniversary (10k points worth $10 minimum). They basically pay you $5 to have the card.

    Signup bonus is 75k miles

    It comes out up front. Then you downgrade before it's due again, next year.
