Relatively this is a horrible price here for 16 oz.
26 oz for sale at Amazon for $1 more.

1. The comment about the cheaper option is referring to the TW ceramic wet wax (yellow bottle label) which is different from this ceramic spray coating (green). The yellow is used as a drying aid and you spray it while your car is still wet from the wash. The wet wax is less durable (1-2 months) vs 3-6+ with the green label ceramic spray wax from my personal testing over the years.
2. You do not need to clay bar, compound, polish, etc. prior to applying. However, if your car is old and hasn't been properly washed in years, you definitely want to consider using a quality soap (carpro reset is nice), clay bar, and possibly polish it (even by hand) for the longevity and durability of your coating. If you don't care you can also just spray this stuff every 3 months and it should hold. If your car is heavily contaminated, consider using a stronger soap such as Adams strip wash or just add a couple fl oz of automotive approved all purpose cleaner into your wash bucket. If you live in snowy road salt heavy roads, consider using carpro descale.
3. Yes there are many other detailer recommended coatings that I also would highly recommend over this spray coating but this one holds itself pretty well given the cost per floz
4. This is not meant to be an actual ceramic coating maintenance product (such as carpro reload, gtechniq c2, gyeon cure), but it CAN be used on top of existing SiO2 based coatings or waxes.
5. This does tend to have slight streaks when applying. Big tip is to make sure your car is completely DRY and to use a decent microfiber towel and the buffing will be pretty easy in my opinion. It also might accumulate some dust as someone has mentioned in the spring/summer but it's not too bad.
6. This can be applied in a wide range of temperatures and even directly in the sunlight. Give it some time to cure and set overnight if possible esp if it's raining. It's not required but is recommended.
7. Keep in mind, ceramic coatings of any form does NOT protect from rock chips and scratches. They do help protect your car from chemicals, oils, and rain water. It helps with keeping the car clean on its own and makes washing/drying much easier. If you need actual physical protection, you need some form of PPF.
8. All in all, this product is great. When your local dealer says some BS along the lines of "our detailers have ceramic coated this vehicle, etc." this turtle wax spray sealant is probably better than that stuff your car comes "coated" with. Also this stuff smells pretty amazing 😍 would rate it a ~8/10
