Can I just wash my car and then use this stuff? I'm not looking to win any competitions or anything. Can I skip the waxing/polishing and just skip straight to this after a wash?
Yes. But dry the car after wash, before applying this.

Can this be used over PPF (paint protection film) ?

Even better deal, get Technicians Choice TEC582...can get a whole gallon for $37: https://www.amazon.com/Technician...B07N8GBHTS

Use full strength as a spray wax or dilute 1:1 as a drying aid (spritz onto panel or towel when drying and then give a quick buff with a fresh microfiber to maintain shine).

edit: not that the turtle wax is a bad product. They really have knocked it out of the park for the value products. But TEC582 is a pro grade product (that you can conveniently still buy on amazon from 3rd party sellers)--decent value in the 16oz spray bottle, but unbeatable value in the gallon jug.

I've used their Hybrid Solutions stuff for almost a year now, but not this. My car already has a ceramic coating and PPF but I do use their Inside Job interior detailer and their wheel cleaner with iron removal. Works really well.

Been using Meguiar's ultimate waterless wash and wax for a couple of years on my 17 Roush Stage 3. Not sure if I want to change.
Willing to try it.nod

STOP!

Relatively this is a horrible price here for 16 oz.

26 oz for sale at Amazon for $1 more.

Is that a different product though?

caution: make sure the car is dry before apply!
I didn't dry my car completely after wash and applied this product. Later I found many rusty tiny spots (never seen them before apply this product). My hypothesis is these spots are water residue mixed with the coating. The coating diluted the paint and exposed the metal that caused the rusty spots. There's a warning on bottle says do not over spray.

That being said, this is a good product if applied correctly
Unlikely. Sounds like typical road rash with gravel, sand, dust hitting your car. If anything, the wax in this product should inhibit rust.

I would get their Ice Seal n Shine for the low maintenance people. Beads water for a long time which means in between washes is effortless. I can do ''waterless'' washes in dead-winter and any dirt/grime/dust slides off easily.

This is undeniably a good product, especially for the money.

But Project Farm didn't exactly test the top end of the market here (which is surprising since he usually has some obscenely expensive tools in the comparisons). Seems like he mostly just went down to AutoZone and grabbed what was on the shelf and didn't seek out the equivalent of stuff like Wiha and Wera tools.

Should have included stuff like Gtechniq C2v3, CarPro Reload, Gyeon Q2M and other boutique detailing brands (and maybe some pro products that are consumer-available like TEC582). Might be the best value, but definitely not the "best you can buy"

Advance Auto has buy one, get one half off right now on appearance products. If you want more than one car cleaning product, you could get a better deal. Or even just get two of the same thing.
Two 16 ounce bottles of the Turtle Wax Seal and Shine for $20.23.

edit: this is a different product. walmart has the 26oz wet wax (vs ceramic spray coat in the OP) for $13 also.
FYI from Amazon Q&A- the OP's product (16 oz.) is a base ceramic layer. The other (26 oz.) is designed to be used after each wash.

Question:
What are pros and cons of this vs. turtle wax 53409 hybrid solutions ceramic spray coating?
Answer:
Our Ceramic Spray Coating is designed to be your base layer and last up to 12 months! Wet Wax is your maintenance product that doesn't have as much durability as the Spray Coating and can be used after each wash.

Excellent product! I've used it on my 2013 Corvette for the last year. Best shine anywhere; easy to apply. I usually buy it at Walmart
