caution: make sure the car is dry before apply!
I didn't dry my car completely after wash and applied this product. Later I found many rusty tiny spots (never seen them before apply this product). My hypothesis is these spots are water residue mixed with the coating. The coating diluted the paint and exposed the metal that caused the rusty spots. There's a warning on bottle says do not over spray.

That being said, this is a good product if applied correctly
no, this product does not dilute the clear coat, it's not acid.

This is undeniably a good product, especially for the money.

But Project Farm didn't exactly test the top end of the market here (which is surprising since he usually has some obscenely expensive tools in the comparisons). Seems like he mostly just went down to AutoZone and grabbed what was on the shelf and didn't seek out the equivalent of stuff like Wiha and Wera tools.

Should have included stuff like Gtechniq C2v3, CarPro Reload, Gyeon Q2M and other boutique detailing brands (and maybe some pro products that are consumer-available like TEC582). Might be the best value, but definitely not the "best you can buy"
His test was including products as the same price range and easy to grab from b&m stores, for weekend warriors, it's certainly not for a pro-consumer market audience, he could still do another series for pro-consumer products. For the test you would want to see, there are plenty other channels have done so: Apex Detail, Pan the Organizer, etc.

STOP!

Relatively this is a horrible price here for 16 oz.

26 oz for sale at Amazon for $1 more.

This is the wet wax and not the same item from the OP. You can use both but they are not the same.

I would get their Ice Seal n Shine for the low maintenance people. Beads water for a long time which means in between washes is effortless. I can do ''waterless'' washes in dead-winter and any dirt/grime/dust slides off easily.
What's the difference between Ice Seal N Shine and this one?

Advance Auto has buy one, get one half off right now on appearance products. If you want more than one car cleaning product, you could get a better deal. Or even just get two of the same thing.
Two 16 ounce bottles of the Turtle Wax Seal and Shine for $20.23.

These hybrid's aren't in that promo, at least in my area. edit: ah, you're referencing a different product

Figured this would be on the first page.
Alright, this video convinced me to buy a bottle, even though I have an almost completely full bottle of turtle wax ICE spray from a previous deal here. Damnit, Slickdeals, haha

No, but the Ice Seal and Shine is along with a few of the car wash soaps and the tire shine. As mentioned, two bottles of the Seal and Shine are $20.23 and it's a lot like the Hybrid Solutions. There are a few Meguiar and Griot products on the list too.

I've been using the Hybrid Ceramic Wet Wax (yellow bottle, spray on wet car, use it as a drying aid/wipe off). It's OK, not amazing. I'll try this one out because it's apparently stronger/better.

Can this be used on headlights/taillights without damaging them?
Yes, and while you're at it do 3M PPF film for impact and uv protection for future yellowing. Headlights are pretty easy and they sell precut ones for your vehicle on eBay.

$13 is the standard price you can buy it everyday from TurtleWax.com, where I get all my car cleaning stuff. Not sure where WalMart and Amazon get their "regular price $15.99" from.

Just FYI, TurtleWax.com has the full lineup of products and most are usually $2-$3 cheaper than Amazon or WalMart.

Not talked about, but you should use caution when using these chemicals. There are many carcinogenic chemicals contained in auto detailing products. Simply breathing some of these can cause respiratory issues not to mention absorption through skin. Just a word of warning to read the ingredient list and do a bit of research.

If I was ordering just one bottle from turtlewax.com, I would get hit with $5 shipping.

+ $5 shipping unless you get at least $20 of stuff, but still good to know, thanks

The free shipping threshold on Amazon is $25. Same price on TurtleWax.com and they have a lower free shipping threshold.
