Anyone knows if this configuration has the finger print reader? TIA.
No fingerprint reader or any biometric authentication of any sorts.

Ah, ok. That's unfortunate, but I appreciate it! Having a hell of time sorting through the convoluted mess that is PC descriptions.

Look for a budget gaming laptop or a laptop with at least a low to mid range gaming GPU. Even the lowest end Gaming GPU like GTX 1650, can beat the most powerful integrated Graphics by a healthy margin.

Had been struggling to decide between this or the Lenovo Yoga 6. I personally prefer Lenovo laptops and don't mind 15.6 vs 13.3. However now with slightly better CPU HP came down to same price. HP would be better choice?

Stop buying these junk windows laptop and go with Apple m1 chip one. My sheep friends are telling me it's the greatest, ever!
The M1 is a fantastic processor, and Apple materials and build quality are a cut above most PCs in the same price range.

And I say this as someone who needs 15" Windows laptops with a number pad for Excel.

Realize this is a matter of personal preference as I absolutely cannot stand Macs - much prefer Windows. As such, this is an excellent deal on a great processor that matches and / or even beats the M1 in several aspects. Windows 11 performance is also top notch on this unit (although I wouldn't compare to the Mac and it's proprietary ecosystem).

Additionally, HP Pavilion laptops are very well built for the price and the value of money for this unit is exceptional. Remember this is the new-ish AMD Ryzen 7 5825 and not the older one that is in a lot of other units from last year. Last but not the last, Costco 2-year warranty (+ an additional 2-years if you buy with the Costco Visa card) is unheard of at this price point - I bought one for my business as you cannot beat the value and performance of this unit!

This is true but there are reasons why people buy windows laptops not just for processors

How about Lenovo $800. https://www.costco.com/lenovo-fle...94413.html [costco.com]
Thanks for the suggestion. Seems like the screen on that is 250 nits and the USB-C doesn't do DisplayPort so I can't dock with it.
