I have these and love that they don't mar a surface. On both sides there are markings with a little view finder. One side for metric one for sale. Great to have tool!

Try Amazon.de (Germany) and about $40 delivered. With currency exchange rates, you can often find deals when the USD is worth more against their currency, like with Amazon.ca (Canada) and even more so if you don't have to pay the Europe and Canadian VAT type taxes.
Without the jaw covers that are sold separately, these will 'mar' fragile finishes like commonly found with bathroom fixtures. Without the covers, I would use the correct size open end wrench... gently.

Do you have a link to the jaw covers? I knew the existed for the cobras, but hadn't seen them for these or thought they were needed.

Sure.... here is the link [amazon.com] for different pliers wrench sizes, but perhaps cheaper elsewhere.
If you have some for the cobra, you might see if they also fit the pliers wrench. I never saw any benefit for using on the cobra, but perhaps others do.

Not to mention, they're also OOS at Amazon.de.

Tots, it is not my job to train you.... and as you should know by now, my arrogance is directly proportionate to your ongoing stupidity. About one out of ten of your deal posts are legitimate deals and when you do, I thumb those up and give you a Rep.
PS: Yes, as often happens when a deal is posted here, they soon go out of stock or sold out. Meanwhile, your OP deal with Grooves had 11 in stock when you posted and....still 11 in stock.
Enjoy your day.
Amazon.de does have some great deals on Knipex, but the pliers wrenches are not one of them. In addition, Amazon Germany charges quite a lot to ship. One Knipex tool can easily be $15 USD shipping. In addition, Amazon.de also charges in Euros. So, the price constantly fluctuate AND some credit cards charge you a Euro to USD currency conversion fee. I have a Chase Rewards Visa, and Chase charged me a foreign currency exchange fee the last time I paid in Euros. If you want to avoid the fee, you have to pay Amazon to do the USD conversion for you, and Amazon charges you a separate fee for the currency exchange. So, your claim that you can get it from Amazon.de cheaper is just you taking a cheap shot at my post. I follow Knipex tool prices closely, and nobody beats Grooves and their free shipping on the smaller sized pliers wrenches -- and Grooves offers them in USD pricing, as well. If you can find a better deal, then show us a link! You don't have a link, because you don't have a better deal, Tools! Even Harbor Freight charges $40 (plus state sales tax) for the ICON knock-offs.

The email I got from grooves said they get their stuff straight from the manufacturer. That's pretty cool. I don't have to worry about it being fake and should be smooth with warranty. But I don't expect to ever use the warranty since these things are like tanks.
