Available to watch on Hulu, Netflix, HBO Max, Pluto TV, Peacock, Tubi, Vudu, Funimation, VRV, and Crunchyroll. And, most of those are for free. Just an FYI. This is still a great price for physical though.

Still one of the coolest fictional concepts introduced in the past 20 years. An incredible premise which offers a wild ride until things start falling apart.

There is another set that has the movies if that matters to anyone. Obviously, more expensive.

And there are complaints about the video quality on that other set and that it might be an upscale, so I will assume the video quality is the same on this one.

I honestly felt like it held up pretty dang well all the way to the end. The second half is definitely slower, but has a lot of great moments too.

Light lost because of his pride and for trusting people he shouldn't have trusted, if he had done the eye deal from the beginning he would have defeated every single adversary and become the god of the new world

but if you think about it, he was probably predestined to die when he did, ryuk knew it, he could see his lifespan, which means everything was fated there was no way that light was gonna win, it was fated
