Have you watched the 1979 documentary, Alien?
Probably plenty of good deals but for the next 15 hours you can get this
katana [smkw.com] for the low low price of $15 dollars. Not sure what I'll do with it yet
Almost like you've never watched a sci fi movie ...

Space force? Why do they need a knife?
Well, they're going to be going to the Moon right? Moon cheese. They have to cut the moon cheese, sir. πŸ”ͺπŸŒ•πŸ§€

Also, astronaut-monkey knife fights.

USSF version is 5/32" (.160) blade thickness. USMC version is 3/16" (.188) blade thickness.

KA-BAR USMC Fighting Knife [smkw.com]
I just added both to product comparison and smkw says both are 0.16" blade thickness. However, the USMC version is 0.8oz heavier in overall weight. I think this must be caused by the only difference, which is the material: Carbon steel (USMC) vs Cro-Van German steel (USSF).

KA-BAR's website [kabar.com] confirms the blade thickness is 0.165" (which is simply more precise by going to the thousandths place), and doesn't have the USSF knife listed, as it is exclusive to smkw.

Both are made in the USA. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Cro-Van seems to have extra corrosion-resistant and edge-retention elements.

I still have no clue what I can use it for. According to people here who know better, it's not a good choice for every day usage and I have no plan or the skill to stab anyone with it.

But the shipping is free on top of the sale price. Plus a free money clip knife (not sure how useful it can be, but a free knife!). Then the 10% coupon came, heck yeah. Plus, just realize the meaning of the USSF. Space Force, that's pretty cool, right? Yeah, that's cool. Also, it's from a knife company, that's gotta mean something.
