No way this is $55 original price. This is so fake price and hiked up. Any way to complain from consumer perspective about false price marking. I think this is how many sellers on Amazon also Jack up the prices and then mark it substantially down to lure people in buying the products.

Seems like it would make for a pretty interesting cat toy. But in reality it's only $5 off the normal price.

Collapsible toys like this are great. Store small behind the couch.
We have a bunch of pop up tents like this for the kids.

Probably good for a couple kids but a classroom would have this destroyed in about 5 minutes

All you're really describing is when something starts with a higher price and then the price is dropped. I get your point that it seems like a deceptive sales trick. But starting with a high price isn't in any way illegal and then cutting the price isn't either.

Putting things on sale is not illegal.
They shouldn't be doing highest price ever. It should be prevailing price and that price should be relatively constant.

May cats love these tunnels. I even put these outside for them to run around in. I just tie them down so they don't blow around.

Cats usually have their claws retracted, so unless they were trying to intentionally damage one of these, it's highly unlikely. I have several tunnels and the ones I keep indoors usually just get knocked around from the cats playing with them, but don't recall ever having a tear in any of them to date. The only violence I've ever seen associated with one of these is one cat is contently resting in one of the tunnels and another cat tries to get in the tunnel too and take their spot.

Actually Macy's was sued for this a few years back.

If I recall, the determination was that you couldn't list a "list price" unless it had actually been sold at that price for a certain period of time over the past 30 or 60 days.
