This is the cheapest 3080 I've seen this week. I know 4000 cards are rumored for a July launch, but that doesn't mean this isn't a deal right now. It's in stock as of this writing, but online only (at least in my area). Hope this helps someone.

$110 over MSRP. That's not too bad in my opinion. This is an Ultra so it's a pre OC version plus a backplate with slight RGB on the side. The 3070Ti TUF comes out $699.99, so $110 extra for the performance bump is not bad. This is a 2 slot card so it's great for SFF PC builds.
Only waited 2 years for this kinda deal lol. This is pretty much the only 3080 that will fit in my NZXT H1 V1.
$40 back in rewards just sweetens it.
Thanks OP

Is 12 GB required for 4K gaming? I'm curious why there is a sentiment that GPUs should have 12 GB going forward.
Games compress textures down to below 8 in most games, but newer games may not guarantee that, high detail texture can easily explode in size, not likely you will see big difference on monitors
I bought this online 2 days ago. BB said it would be in the store on Tuesday. Just got a text it's ready for pickup. I'm kinda bummed it's not the 12gb version because I game in 4K, but this is a really good deal if you need a GPU right now. I may return this one if prices drop further. They let you return it within 30 days. BTW- MSI has some good deals right now if you can stand all their mail in rebate BS.

I'm curious what happens to the GPU market (and really the PC component market in general) come this Christmas, with a global recession looking like a certainty, the mining craze grinding to a halt, and Intel breaking into the market (though their offerings are looking pretty low-end).
I'm used to graphics cards being heavily discounted, not selling at multiples over MSRP. I think by Christmas we will be close to a return of something resembling the pre-COVID, pre-mining market, as there will be a glut rather than a shortage. So even though prices are dropping today, I believe they have a lot farther to drop.

I havea 3080Ti XC3 Ultra on my Sliger SM570. The .2 inches is definitely not an issue for me.

How did you get $40 in rewards?
Best buy rewards
Lol why? A card wirh this performance would have costed waaay more a couple of years ago.
It's all relative. You can get a 3060 wirh great performance value ratio but if you want better and better performance you have to pay more.
Just like the 3070 is equivalent to 2080 which was way more expensive
