Either PoS is coming in August if the plan is going accordingly. There will be a glut of used/mining cards floodding the market.

Just ordered the 6900xt. It's the black edition and even comes with a bracket. Best deal I have seen for a while.

It's funny a few months ago(and the last year) people complaining about GPUs being double retail. That's if you could find one.

Now that they are close to retail and can be easily got they still complain. I think these prices for these range of cards are the new normal. Unless people quite buying.

You don't know shit. Cards are nearing MSRP or at MSRP now but AMD decided to launch a last ditch effort to drain some extra cash from consumers by releasing the X50 version of cards, which are a very small performance increase for a large cash increase.

Those who know are still disgusted by these so called "retail" prices. These "retail" prices are blown up 2X what they would have been a few years prior.

A top end card **80 series was $500.

This 6750Xt at $550 is what would have been $200 to $300 a few years back. The card is with in what I consider the upper range of gaming GPU's, but it is a lower/mid level card with in that range, now selling at what was top prices.

So yes..I am bitter. The prices of these cards need to be much sweeter.

I'll just wait for the next gen as my GTX 1080 is still enough for what I'm playing.

Comparing the 6600 XT to 6650 XT and the 6700 XT to 6750 XT the price / performance ratios are just about exact from 6000 to 6x50's.
Thats if you use retail $ on AMD site vs G3D mark. Benchmarks vary of course but G3D is standard and easily to get off
So the performance increase vs cash increase is inline with existing card price vs performance.

Yes now that all is true. The retail on these are a bit inflated.

5000 series were less in retail for equivalent tier cards.

RX 5700 XT's had $399 retail in 2019 but todays 6700 XT is $478

Yes.... Im thinking back almost 5 years. Maybe that's unreasonable, but the latest inflated prices are bonkers.

My last AMD purchase was in 2018 for a RX 580 8gb...it was $229 retail...I got it for $180 after coupon. Still running in a 2nd PC, but struggling with newer games at 1440P.

I believe that card was replaced by the 5000 series.

I usually upgrade every other generation, but now I'm looking at 3 generations due to the inflation.

My gTx 1080 is getting old.
