To ensure I would not have any issues if there was a problem, on day two I called and requested a return. Then I scheduled the pickup return date almost two weeks into the future. When customer service rep suggested an earlier return date, I responded truthfully that I could not take another day off from work to wait for pick up until then. I called and cancelled a couple days before the scheduled return pick up date. As the short 48 hour return window is new I do not know how long this loophole will work. But buy yourself some time.
I almost bought a GE refrigerator until I saw it the same price on costco (1 more year warranty, no haul away/parts fee) There are a lot of memorial day deals

For $100 more I went with Costco, but now with the extra $500 I'm thinking I will cancel and order it from Lowe's and maybe pay for the 3 or 5 yr warranty.
