I don't see this discount advertised anywhere, but I noticed that a refrigerator that I had in my cart was discounted from $2099 to $1799, and I was able to check out with that price. I'm pretty sure that the discount was not active yesterday, when I first added the refrigerator to my cart.

Example:
Whirlpool 19.4-cu ft 4-Door Counter-Depth French Door Refrigerator with Ice Maker - Fingerprint-Resistant Stainless Finish [lowes.com] - listed price is $2099
When added to cart, discounted price is $1799.

In my order confirmation email, there was some additional information about the discount:
Quote :
In Store: Must ask cashier to apply discount (barcode) at time of purchase. Online: Discount is automatically applied in cart. Discount amount varies based on final total purchase price of eligible Appliance item(s) before taxes. Save $150 when you spend $1,499 – 1,998; save $300 when you spend $1,999 – $2,498; save $500 when you spend $2,499 – $4,999; save $750 when you spend $5,000 or more. Discount will be applied proportionally across all eligible items. All items must be purchased on the same receipt between 5/19/22 and 6/8/22. Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any (i) other promotion, discount, markdown, coupon, rebate or offer including any Lowe's volume or special discount programs (such as but not limited to, Contractor Packs, Buy in Bulk, Quote Support Program ("QSP"), Military Discount, employee discount, Lowe's Price Promise, Special Value, New Lower Price, Was:Now and credit discount offers); or (ii) associate-discretion price adjustments. Redeemable in store, on Lowe's.com and Lowe's.com mobile applications only. Not valid on: Lowe'sforPros.com; any Lowe's branded website operated by a third party; previous sales; multiple transactions; or at Lowe's outlets. Customer must pay applicable sales tax. Offer applies to select items only. Also not valid on: clearance items; previous sales; or services. Some items available via Special Order only. See Lowe's.com or associate for more details and qualifying items. Valid 5/19/22 – 6/8/22.
This is my first time posting, let me know if I missed anything.

Edit: I guess this is mentioned on the Lowes.com main page: "Plus, save up to $750 now when you buy qualifying major appliances". I should have included "appliances" in the post title.

The return poiicy is essentially after 48 hours you are on your own. With most appliances 48 hours is not enough time to ensure they are working correctly. I was told by Whirlpool to wait 24 hours after installation to load food into brand new refrigerator to ensure it came up to temperature. Once food was loaded it would take another 24 hours for the refrigerator to settle. There goes your 48 hour return window.

To ensure I would not have any issues if there was a problem, on day two I called and requested a return. Then I scheduled the pickup return date almost two weeks into the future. When customer service rep suggested an earlier return date, I responded truthfully that I could not take another day off from work to wait for pick up until then. I called and cancelled a couple days before the scheduled return pick up date. As the short 48 hour return window is new I do not know how long this loophole will work. But buy yourself some time.
be sure to check other merchants: costco/HD/BB/etc
I almost bought a GE refrigerator until I saw it the same price on costco (1 more year warranty, no haul away/parts fee) There are a lot of memorial day deals
Which models?

Fridge I just ordered at Costco is $600 cheaper at Lowe's with this. What is their return policy like? Online it says you have to initiate a return with 48hrs which is a bit short is it not? Or am I reading it wrong? Online it says free "truck delivery". For appliance deliveries it says installation and moving old appliance is included, but the wording of "truck delivery" makes me feel like it's just a drop off.

For $100 more I went with Costco, but now with the extra $500 I'm thinking I will cancel and order it from Lowe's and maybe pay for the 3 or 5 yr warranty.

I stumbled across this deal yesterday and thought it was a price error in my cart. Got a fridge, washer, and dryer for $2200.

It is 48 hours after it's delivered. Free Installation requires you to buy the parts added in cart, even if you already have them. Removal of old appliances costs extra.

No parts get added to the cart. Removal is $40, but it says they will move one appliance for free. So into the garage I'd guess.

Depends what you buy, if fridge has a water connection they make you buy a new hose for installation.

just spent +$300 on the same exact Samsung fridge earlier this week. Great deal relatively speaking, but fridges have gotten so expensive nowadays, only to go obsolete by design in like 5years.

Why not contact Appliance Connection? If you email or call, they can get you better pricing than if you were to just add something to your cart and purchase.
