Back for my usual reminder to not buy this on the Switch. Great looking game, fun concept, but runs like total garbage on the Switch, despite multiple performance patches. Playing this will require you to restart your system a few times a gaming session to keep performance decent.
Just a reminder, this was free on Epic Games store awhile back. Make sure you don't have it already before you purchase it.
10 - 15 second load times, at that frequency, is ridiculous in 2022. I'm 35. I played Final Fantasy VII on PS1. It did not have as much loading as is described in that quote. If you're getting as many loading points as that person said, 10 - 15 seconds turns into minutes, very quickly. Your comment is dumb. It's also hilarious how people like to use age as some way to be better than someone else. You were a kid, once. You complained about something that someone older thought was stupid.

Lol metacritic has a 72. Here's an excerpt from someone complaining about loading times, man what if they played FF7 on PS1? These youths...
"There is an insane amount of loading screens in this game, even before and after every random encounter which is insanely annoying. Being forced to wait 10-15 seconds before and after each battle just makes me want to quit playing"

The main mechanic is ability to push your enemies to the past or future.
