Apologies for your lack of expendable income. Work harder or go be jealous elsewhere. Nobody here cares about your finances.

BTW my 77" G1 looks great in the bathroom.

for the love of god, if you have a video only near you, go there for a better deal on this tv. apologies to everyone who does have one near them. you're probably sick of hearing it.
Just picked up a display model from the one by my work for $1,399.00. Figured with a 5 year warranty it was worth the added risk.

Then why pray tell are you on a thread about a $2K TV?

I'm very interested in this... I added a Sony UBP-X700M HDR 4K UHD Network Blu-ray Disc Player with Hi-Res Audio and the DIGFLOWERS50 code didn't work... said there wasn't anything eligible for the code. They OP's example item did work though... anyone have success with any other filler items than the one given by OP?

G1 normally doesn't come with a stand. It comes with a flush wall mount.

reading a few articles about upcoming sales, retailers are sitting on too much stock. They anticipated more lockdown sales but now people are tightening their budget.

On my previous OLED (65 C7), LG covered parts to replace the panel for burn-in, but I had to cover labor. For reference, I paid $250 labor (that was in the SF Bay Area this year).

I picked up a 77 G1 in January, and it's fantastic, although the main driver for the upgrade was size, the other features, while nice, weren't worth it coming from my C7.
I have a 2016 C6 with burn-in. Last I researched, I may be at a cutoff point for any leeway in coverage. But I would not mind paying labor (also in Bay Area) if they covered the parts, especially since the picture quality is still top tier to me and one of the last models to do 3D.

Otherwise, I think I may just wait another year for 2nd gen QD-OLED, or discount on the first models. Though, the G1 looked like a nice option for wall mounting and possibly moving up to 77inch. Based on your comment, I suspect any upgrade right now may not be worth it just for picture quality alone.

I agree you are most likely ast any replacement window although it doesnt hurt to try. My understanding is that the replacement panels they put in the C6s would cause the 3D to no longer work although they allegedly have better burn in resistance. I am very happy with my 77G1 so far.

Definitely worth a shot, but it's likely a long one at this point depending on when you bought it. They were informally offering panel replacements within 4 years of purchase to original owners. I had bought my C7 in Feb of 2018, and got my replacement in Jan 2022. The best way to engage LG seems to be via DM on Twitter; they wanted pictures of the burn in as well as my receipt.
What about a c6...3d panel...love that thing...getting a green blob in the middle now. Very sad if I have to put her out to pasture.

Got a counter offer on Green-toe of $2699 on the 77g1, no tax. Depending on where you are could be the same for a brand new one.

65g1 is 1599 on there right now. Just picked one up for my new house. Lowest price I've ever seen!
