It was good, but not worth the full price if you have to pay. $4.99 at my local place. BUT they also had a deal that for $13, you got 2 Mexican Pizzas ($10), 2 Bean Burritos ($4.60), a Nacho Belgrande ($5.80), and 2 Cinnamon twists ($3.60). So buy all of the other stuff ($13.40), and get 2 free Mex Pizzas

They told me they have to save the pizza for paying customers right now since it's in high demand

I had one last week and it's not the same Mexican Pizza as before. I have a feeling they got rid of it just so they can bring it back and make it more expensive with worse ingredients. Not to mention getting the pop of free marketing all across social media because people want to show how quirky and fun they are by making a performative big deal out of how excited they are that it's back, despite the fact that they probably hadn't ordered a Mexican Pizza in years before it was discontinued.

Ya the shell is not nearly as hard or tasty as the old one. Taco Bell has gone downhill since covid imo.

The few I've tried have been pretty good. If they switched out the cane sugar for high fructose corn syrup, I didn't notice!
