I believe ebay changed this last year so completed auctions that end before the promotion period no longer earn bonus ebay bucks. When you go through checkout you should not see any ebay bucks earned.

I used to spend $500 a month on eBay during these promotions but since I don't qualify anymore I barely buy anything. Other websites are cheaper.

Same here. I used to get most of them every year pretty much since the whole thing started back in 2009 and haven't gotten any for this year. My spending pattern on eBay has hardly changed at all, so I guess they might have adjusted their algorithm for this year. Not sure who they're trying to target, though, since enrollment into the program has been closed for a while now, possibly for over a year.

My guess is that the whole eBay Bucks program goes away this year. Thye are probably cutting off most of the people that used to get the offers to see what the impact is if they cancel the whole thing.

Got it like clockwork. I make sure to order every time I get the 5% to make it look like I'm enticed to buy by the promo and keep the algorithm happy.

I would buy on eBay so much more if they brought back Bucks permanently. It was a nice bonus at the end of the quarter.

One of my account hasn't received the offer since Feb 2 when I purchased an item. So I'm down to one account that received eBay Bucks offer since Feb. I made at least one purchase whenever I get the offer, apparently that trick doesn't guarantee that my accounts receive the offer.

I have somehow received every bucks offer since the primary program was stopped. I have no idea how one qualifies, so I keep doing the same thing every month. I always have items in my cart, I bid on some auctions, I occasionally purchase without the bucks offer, I always purchase at least one item during the bucks promotion. The amount I spend seems to be irrelevant. Maybe it is something else. Who knows.

This is the first time I didn't get a SD alert e-mail for one of these posts (keyword "eBay Bucks"), and I ended up buying something for $900 today, without having the offer activated. It wasn't in my spam, either, and I do qualify Frown Darn.
