My takeaway from reading the article was:
1. The pink tint reported by many users was already enough for me to not want a WBE panel.
2. Peak brightness when comparing the two panels doesn't matter because the 42" already has a peak brightness cap due to its size.
Suffice to say that I'm very happy with my WBC panel.
That being said I have one hooked to my PC and an XboxSX.
As a monitor it's pretty impressive. Text is clear even at scaled 200% at 3840x2160. The only thing I would complain about is the agressive ABL will often dim whiter screens and documents as a protection mechanism I understand. It's not like you can't read things just weird when you are not used to it with a regular monitor.
My real complaint is that movies and shows are just fuzzy looking regardless of picture modes and source inputs compared to some immensely cheaper non-oled tv's with 4K content. I understand that the HDR may not pop as well as the larger panels but I at least expected a high degree of detail and that does not seem to be the case.

Might be the noise reduction settings on the picture settings. I didn't like the fuzziness of some content and went over the settings to remove any noise reductions to keep the picture sharp for some movies and streaming shows.
That said, nice to see it doesn't have the back weight/ hump the 48" has. Will probably have to wait a while for this to come down in price :'(.
