I bought this TV earlier for the $2250 price and I am 100% happy with the quality of images. I have a rather bright family room and this TV is just great in the room. Sure I wish I got it for the current $1960 price, but I'm done wheel'n and deal'n for a big screen TV.... I'm just enjoying it now. Thank you SlickDeal members for posting about this TV !

It's a stretch to call them clowns for saying that. You are brazenly extorting them, they knew it and played along. I mean do what you will to get a deal, but they are clowns to offer 10% back in the first place, not for telling you it can't stack.

Same! I tried talking to the rep and said wouldn't it be easier for Samsung to just refund me the difference instead of paying for my return shipment, paying for shipment on the new tv, then losing out on having the return tv now be an opened-box item?? They didn't seem to understand (or care) so now I gotta go through the ordeal of packing it all up and getting sent back. They told me I have to take to a Fedex but I'll call to see if we can schedule a pick up. What a bummer to have to go through all that but at the end like you said, the 2250 was a "great" deal esp w the 10% off but I was still finding it tough to justify paying more on this than my oled. I wonder if the 83" oled will ever drop to 2k or under. Thoughts?
This is called FOMO.

Guys, guys, have you learned nothing from the gpu pricing? These will be $899 eventually just be patient.
Wrong. The GPU/new console market of the past couple years has little in common with the display market.

GPU pricing had been driven stratospheric by Ethereum/Bitcoin/etc miners *and* pent up consumer demand for performant ray-tracing hardware.

Now prices for graphics are strongly trending downwards, but TV prices are merely following the same yearly pattern seen in Ars Technica charts/article I linked earlier [arstechnica.com].

People could pass on this deal, but at some point this summer most of the 2021 stock will be gone, and people will have to wait for 2022 models to follow pricing patterns.

I haven't done the tablet/ TV combo, maybe can look at the thread on people who did the crazy triple combo deal for the 75" QN90a for $1600 to see if anyone returned the items. If you look under the order for TV and tablet, there will be two options to cancel each item. I tried clicking on cancel for the tablet and it states if I cancel the tablet, it will cancel the whole order as this is a special combo. So that probably means that if you returned the tablet later the TV will revert to the higher price.

I am returning the TV b/c I got it at the higher supposedly good price at the time $2250 (1 month ago) and they refused to do price match b/c I got the 10% cancel already. I have nothing else to do so we did the return and it's not that big a hassle.
How'd you like it?

Anyone else having this issue where it shows $1,960 on the page where it asks you to add additional special offer items, but then when you click Skip and proceed, the cart shows $2,599? This is through an employer discount. Top left of page shows "Samsung save @ work" when logged into EPP.

Ok so just ordered this tv in April and took delivery May 4th with the 10% cancel discount, it came out to $2240. I just purchased this deal with the tablet which was far better. And my order came out to $2097 without a discount and they said since I got the 10% on the previous tv they will honor it for this one as well. They gave me a shipping label to return my current tv but I will just put the label on the new tv and return it to make life easier

Samsung knows it's a bit of a hassle for people to return so most people will just keep the TV. Like I said, I had nothing better to do and my wife is super so we just spent Sunday taking down the TV and reboxing it. Called FedEx per the Samsung instructions and they are coming tomorrow to pick it up. nothing about having to bring it in. Given the current deal is the same TV and tablet for $1900s, it justifies it. question is how long do we play this game as they keep dropping the price every 2 weeks.
I live near Video Only (in CA) which has been very competitive in getting lower OLED prices, but the best they can do on the 83" LG C1 is $3200 + tax. OLED is definitely better esp in darker rooms, but just not double the price better.

@importrx7, there is a risk to return the new one, as Samsung may track S/N.

be careful we thought about this too, but the serial # inside the box will be different when they accept it in return and you may run into problems. others have mentioned major headaches resolving it. that's why i am returning the original TV

Man, I've tried all afternoon and still shows 2500 for me whether I'm logged in or not. Anyone else not able to replicate the deal??
