I bought this TV earlier for the $2250 price and I am 100% happy with the quality of images. I have a rather bright family room and this TV is just great in the room. Sure I wish I got it for the current $1960 price, but I'm done wheel'n and deal'n for a big screen TV.... I'm just enjoying it now. Thank you SlickDeal members for posting about this TV !

It's a stretch to call them clowns for saying that. You are brazenly extorting them, they knew it and played along. I mean do what you will to get a deal, but they are clowns to offer 10% back in the first place, not for telling you it can't stack.

Anyone with this tv have a solution for the judder/stutter on panning videos? That's my only complaint about this tv. I have tried the filmmaker mode and game mode, but it's still there just alittle better. A 2021 flagship shouldn't have this issue, i know it has to do with frame-insertion of the 24p vs 120hz panel (or correct me if I am wrong) but it just disappoints badly in thay department. But i can live with that, not a big deal, this price is really good
neither of those settings have anything to do with judder. Judder is only going to be impacted by the motion smoothing functions. If you have motion smoothing turned off and you see judder then it's the devices or the source material (frame rate isn't matching source material or frame insertion). None of this stuff is the fault of the TV. This TV can display everything in its native frame rate.

If you turn motion smoothing on then you get the soap opera effect

Thanks OP. After some back and forth, finally got it working. Had to re-order because ad-blocker didn't register my Chase UR shopping portal order. $2083 and change out the door w/ Galaxy A8 32GB tablet.
how are you able to tell if UR registers for the item or not. I've disable my ad block. I want to make sure when i complete the order.

C1 is faaaaaaar better quality. Oled is far superior than led, you're better off with the C1 unless you're willing to give up quality for a bit bigger screen
Yeah, C1 is great in a dark room. If you have a normal viewing environment with lights and windows the QN90A is a much better choice at 4x the brightness and nearly as good of contrast.

Folks think this through.

Save $50 here or $100 extra one time... or continue to save big down the road.

I just feel all these cancelations will eventually put an end (or make it more complicated) to these big deals through EDU.
I think it would be wiser to pay full price. That way samsung can afford more for R&D and make better TVs future.

C'mon guys invest in your future! LOL

I ordered this tv and got it about 3 days ago. Before taking down my mounted 65" cx and putting up this 85" I did a side by side comparison. I absolutely love the size it's wonderful. But even the wife said the oled is so much better. She she's the one who initially said they're all the same lol
We ended up putting on Amazon uhd movie (jolt) on both tvs at the same exact time and wow. She ended up watching on the smaller oled and I was watching in the bigger non-oled but if you do side by side you'd see the big difference. Modern warfare looks slightly different too but not enough for me to really care too much about, plus we watch more shows and movies than I game.
And, you can only tell the difference when you put them side by side.

I got it for 2250 than I price matched it for 1960 and now I got additional 10% off as I said I want to return the tv.

Can someone comment its its worth buying the extended warranty from Samsung (I do get extra 2 year from my CITI Costco card) ,How was your support/return experience from Samsung (compared with Costco concierge)
Very different experiences:

Samsung warranty: You put in a ticket online, they send out a technician to troubleshoot. He comes back a second time with parts.

Costco warranty: There is no concierge, this is done through Citi's warranty service which is operated by a 3rd party warranty company. The submission process is pretty easy but you have to fill out several forms, provide the receipt and statement that the charge showed on. Then you need to provide a quote for repair meaning you have to get samsung or one of their service partners to quote the repair or come out and troubleshoot it to quote the repair.

if you do the samsung extended warranty you better be sure it is serviced by samsung and not a 3rd part!!!

Ok so just ordered this tv in April and took delivery May 4th with the 10% cancel discount, it came out to $2240. I just purchased this deal with the tablet which was far better. And my order came out to $2097 without a discount and they said since I got the 10% on the previous tv they will honor it for this one as well. They gave me a shipping label to return my current tv but I will just put the label on the new tv and return it to make life easier
good luck man, if they check the serial number it may get rejected or they may count the return for the actual TV you sent back and you still pad $2240 LOL.

It's 4.5. Click and read recent reviews

I've owned this TV for 5 months now, already had it replaced once. You watch the YouTube reviews and everything looks great and to that end picture is good but there's (what I consider to be) a severe defect that nobody tells you about. (Especially if the TV has been off for a hour or more) when you turn the TV on there's often a delay of about 5-10 seconds where you absolutely can't use the remote control. The example I used to Samsung is that lets say I was watching a loud movie or some music videos during the day on high volume and I turned the TV off, now it's late night and I want to turn the TV on but if I do I'll wake my partner because for about 5s the volume would be stuck on high. No this isn't about SmartHub performance, that's another issue altogether because as a Plex user the performance in the app is slow too but the remote control issue is way worse. I owned a Q60T, then a Q70T and in my house we also have a MU7000 and in 2019 I bought a RU7100 for my sister. I've gotten rid of the 60T and 70T but the point is that I've never experienced any of these problems on any of the TV's mentioned. In fact I've made a number of videos as evidence to show Samsung but Samsung itself has simply responded to say that the device is working within spec so what I'm seeing is normal. I'm a IT enthusiast, into PCs and gadgets and I've never built a new PC where stuff is just slower than the last one and it's a sad sad day when a manufacturer start selling sub par products. My guess is that (if enough people complain about it then) Samsung will fix this problem down the line and say 'oh look, now with better performace'...yes Samsung, thanks for fixing the problem that YOU introduced. Spread the word so that others don't have buyers remorse like I do. I'm already thinking up ways to flog this TV off in the 2nd hand market to buy something else but for now options are limited in South Africa. Gosh I wish Sony would sell us the Bravia Master range...I live in a world where tech goes FORWARD Samsung, not backward. In all my life I've never seen a TV where a remote control doesn't just work when you turn the device on. In my video evidence there was even a weird problem at first where it wasn't showing me the battery power, the problem resolved itself after a day or 2 but nobody commented on that either. PS: Samsung PLEASE fix the 'period of use' field on your site, there's 1-3 months then 6-12? What about 4 or 5 months?
I have this TV. Don't know what the reviewer's issue is but my remote works fine and the TV comes up and is responsive immediately.

SO THERE.

I can't believe you went and hand picked a negative review to troll the thread. Really?

I am just saying that Qn900a, 800a, and 850a are far more superior than this, technology-wise and quality-wise.
No, they really aren't. if you don't need 8k, then you don't need 8k.

Stop trolling, and stop changing your story while you trash the TV.

First it was a bad TV, then you got called out on it's ratings, then you shared a bad review, then you got called out on that, now you are saying it's just the 8k ones are better....
