Edit: BTW I got a refurb 18V battery in one of the kits. It lasted 1 charge cycle, so check them if you get a refurb battery. Maybe run thru a few charge-discharge cycles. I called customer support and replaced it no problem. Just a heads up that their "refurb" may be a restore and not necessarily new parts.

ive never seen a company fluxtuate prices and shipping and sale % so much. its borderline impossible to keep up with what is actually a good price, and what is the normal price. non stop sales, and blowouts and iNveNtOrY ClEaNoUtS!!!!!!!!
like... come on. just keep things the same price and offer 10-15% sales on occasion, rather than the regular prices being 20% off a price that something has never actually been, and then 40% off sales based off of a now inflated price.
That's a good range of nails, right? Is 16 gauge the standard , what are the uses of 16 gauge.
Is it pretty good for most simple jobs around the house. I've never owned one but have seen (and used a few times) the air compressor ones .

If you go back 3 years it was not this bad, but everyone will say it was. This is just what happens when you keep inflation down forever and a major unexpected market change occurs. I mean just look at the deals being sold out so quick even when they are not that good. They either don't have the inventory, or the demand is blowing it all out at these 'terrible misleading prices'. Meanwhile in my area people want to sell used tools for more than HD brand new lol. So yeah, I don't get mad when businesses are competing with each other, because I do remember when much crappier tools were much higher in price, but I'm showing my age here.
