It just wires through your helmet and its a bit of arts and crafts but it works pretty well. There's also an android app called 'swiftvolume' where you can set a low & high speed volume and set the thresholds.

While I didn't rep this deal, I did rep the KENWOOD one a couple weeks back and just installed in my new RF 1400 and it's a game changer.
Can wear ear plugs instead of hassling with wired, uncomfortable headphones. An internal mic to use Siri is great too. Setting these BT systems up can be a little bit of a pain but I'm extremely happy.
