For those of you whose mind is thinking like mine

20qt = 5 gallons
47qt = 11.75 gallons
69qt = 17.25 gallons
Good to know. FYI, for 40 lb bags of pellets, you need the 47 quart.
These aren't remotely tight, much less air tight. Still like mine though

None of those ones with the smaller one on top? I need one to store cat food on top and dog food on bottom. Been waiting for another deal on one forever now.

Picked up the 69 quart thanks op! Checked Amazon price history, lowest price was January for 24.99.
Didn't even know I needed one, I've been using a plastic trash can that hold about 40lbs of dog food, this looks like it hold more than 55lbs.

My brain works that way when it comes down to volume . Reminds me of Nixon pushing for the metric system. 1 quart is pretty much 1 liter.

my problem with these is all the air space in there as you use up the food. might not be a problem if you go through the food fast enough.

In for 3. Bought these last year to turn into chicken feeders as an experiment. Like most clear plastic they get brittle when they get cold and we broke the bottom out of one on a sub zero day. And the casters aren't made for "off roading" in a muddy chicken yard especially when full. But considering that they weren't designed for that kind of abuse at all, they've held up pretty well. You can put a 50lb bag of chicken feed in the large size with some space left over. Should be able to hold 50 lbs of dog kibble (larger pieces=more volume) per the Chewy site.

Off main topic but a five gallon bucket, with a 3 inch diameter 90 degree pvc elbow makes good hicken feeder. Use hole saw to cut hole in sside of bucket, close to bottom. Push in pipe fitting so its horizontal 'outside' bucket and facing down 'inside' bucket. Keeps feed from spilling ou when filled up. I use an old saucer hubcap for 'lid'to keep rain out. Check out youtube for more. Cheap and simple. Add multiple fittings if you have decent sized flock.
