Then the tennis ball thing is too much of a "temptation" for my kids. I also had to make a pool noodle wall between all the vehicles, so the kids don't dent everything...I keep my vehicles and other toys in a separate Garage away from their grubby
hands.

My son boxes the ball and works on his footwork and head movement with it.

Theres a reason this junk is on clearance. Adhesive tape wont keep this attached to the garage floor for long, especially if you happen to accelerate on them. Same goes with drilling them down with a small screw (who wants to put a hole into their garage floor anyway?).

Tennis ball technique is still the best

I once hung the ball from the ceiling as a car stop, but sometime it started swinging at night when noone was there, the swing in the back yard too, swung for no reason, at 3AM. The rocking chair also start slowly rocking when there was nobody in the room. Then thing started falling from the kitchen bar....

On the recommendation of someone here on SD picked up a pair of 12x8x2 paver stones from Home Depot for this purpose, around $2 each iirc. Working great for me. I figured I could tape or glue them down if they moved around too much but so far their weight has kept them in place.

These are plastic now? I remember decades ago my dad got something similar but it was heavy duty rubber so it didn't need any tape for it to stay put. I bet this thing won't last 6 months then off to the landfill it goes.
