The reason why many major brands like Nike do not do business on Amazon is the rampant problem of knockoffs. Even legitimate store fronts you think are safe because you think you are buying "direct" are problematic since inventory of legitimate product is intermingled with knock off product from 3rd party sellers claiming to sell inventory of the real product. Even "ships from and sold by Amazon" stuff has lost meaning...clothes, board games, and computer peripherals/accessories are among the most common categories where you are taking a gamble of getting fake product on Amazon, but I'm sure there are more. I comb through reviews like a hawk on Amazon, and even informed people get duped when a 5-star legitimate product with thousands of reviews start getting intermingled with the knock offs. Unfortunately, as this thread makes quite apparent, most people are oblivious to the problem of Amazon fakes which has been around for years.

I can't tell if these the ones, but some of these have very small pockets that everytime you sit your phone will fall out of them

I have a pair and have the same experience. They've always been washed inside out in a front loader washing machine, but it seems to happen from just wearing them.
