I thought you were exaggerating but yup you're right. Only one on eBay and it's $125.

I have a hue hub which is connected to my Smartthings hub.

Anyone has the same setup? Anyone noticed a delay since its hopping into two hubs and I believe its not considered as a local device once imported to ST.

I do as well. They're not terrible but not great IMO. I have two and each has been fairly unreliable

I do not have a hue hub. My Hue Outdoor motion sensor is connected directly to my Smartthings Hub. See this video on how I got it setup:

That was the deal breaker for me. I'm in the market to replace an old motion sensing light. I'm not opposed to smart technology, I have a LOT of cameras, bulbs, switches, Google home and several echo dots, echo shows and an echo. I don't need a hub for them.

I have four of these motion sensors and haven't had any issues. I like them more than my aqara motion sensors.

I'm curious what zigbee coordinator you bought? I'm using the Sonoff 3.0 plus dongle and they work great.

I am using sonoff zigbee coordinator as well with Zigbee2mqtt. I got 5 Aqara P1 motion sensors and 5 hue indoor sensors (3 are yet to arrive). Aqara inodor has been pretty reliable for me, maybe because they are newer model.

I am sorry, I posted another comment instead of replying to this, by mistake.

Surprised this made FP when you can often get this price from Amazon Warehouse. For whatever reason, there's a ready supply of damaged box sensors in amazons system.

I've used one of these for almost 2 years now and it works great. I currently use it with a Hue Bridge, but I had it connected to Home Assistant via a ConBee II Zigbee hub previously. Quick response time, batteries last forever (ok, realistically 2.5-3 years in my case), and no issues staying accessible to the Zigbee network. Also has integrated light sensor and reports battery level if you care about those things.

Works great with many other Zigbee hubs. Just had it on my motion sensor round up. Great sensor.
