You sat your ass at home and got someone else to do your bidding, on top of that there is a discount.
People have to be paid yo hence fees.

You're also, not paying for gas to and from the store, and you save time that would be spent shopping and driving. Time is priceless in my opinion, so services like this are well worth the money without a discount and you're complaining about only saving 15-20 dollars when you're saving so much more.

New users... signup for Express Trial of 14 days on the final screen of ordering. It'll save several more $$$ by making...
- Delivery fee ZERO on order over $35
- Reducing service fee significantly

FYI... it saved me $5.99 delivery fee, & Service Fee $3.73 was reduced to $1.01

Once order is complete go to the Instacart Account Page https://www.instacart.com/store/account/express, & Cancel Express membership. Benefits will continue till trial ends.

Yo then show fees up front, don't bitch and moan when someone points out that the discount is not as advertised. If I didn't sit my ass at home there would be no use for these companies so not sure what that comment is suppose to mean. If you want 15 bucks to deliver groceries then say so. The fact that it isn't advertised exactly like that should tell you something. But maybe you missed that.

Then advertise it that way. What's wrong with saying up front what it will cost? Why not just say xx dollar deliver fee instead of saying free delivery then adding xx dollars in fees? I'm not the shady one here.

They only delivered $15 worth of stuff and couldn't find the other $35 worth of stuff, so they refunded. Coupon was cut back, so the discount wasn't fully utilized Confused
