I'd love to hear some comments on these. I need some speakers for a lofted art studio (think like a workshop environment), and the speakers will be on the loft pointed out into the studio space. It's a big space, probably about the size of 2 x 2 car garages. Going to be listening to music on Spotify via Amazon Echo. Given the weird layout, imaging isn't the most important thing. Will be powering with an old Sony receiver, just a typical Class-D kinda thing. Reproduction is more important than loudness (ok, volume), but being able to go somewhat loud is important. Price is also an important factor. They'll also be out of sight so appearance doesn't matter.. just want a solid cheap workshop-type speaker pair for 2.0 or maaaaybe 2.1.

I just ordered a pair of the Klipsch RP-150's that are on sale on SD for abour $210 - I know the Klipsch will probably sound crisper overall, but how would these compare in a very big room vs the Klipsch?

As an alternative to these I was going to look for something from Dayton Audio / Part Sexpress until I found the RP150's.

Something to keep in mind, these things are only rated for something like 30 RMS/60 Max watts iirc. Maybe not a huge deal but if somebody were to try to crank these up to fill that big space that may be the end of them.

I'd go with the Jamo, because it has more drivers and more power handling.
