Nevertheless, HF Baur, DeWalt, Ridgid also make good shop vacuums, but remember that with Bauer, you want to buy the extended warranty that is simply exchanging for a brand new one.
Now, for some cordless deals... PF test results[youtube.com] were interesting. Ryobi did better than I thought it would do against the big boys.

That review video said volumes. Side-by-side, the Vacmaster is trash. Definitely waiting on a deal on the Craftsman 16 gal vac.
I bought one of these for $85 3 years ago to have on hand for routine garage/car cleaning and home improvement projects, and am very happy with it. The cord and hose are a convenient length, and I like the muffler attachment for indoor work. A friend borrowed it to use during a minor basement flood and it worked great for that purpose as well. Unless you're a professional handyman or something, the performance for value is great with this
Harbor freight is having a 25% off coupon on labor day. Usually they exclude Bauer but not this one. That makes the Bauer only about $20 more than the vacmaster. Bauer did significantly better than the vacmaster in the project farm tests. https://youtu.be/hSN7PXwn1yU

Is absolute nonsense. In comparison, thinking $65.76 for the OP should be the list price.
douglascm's link [youtube.com] is spot on. But, Project Farm's older test [youtube.com] that did not include the OP was interesting.
Perhaps be patient and wait on a sale for the 6.5 Craftsman from Ace Hardware [acehardware.com] or Lowes [lowes.com] or perhaps even Amazon [amazon.com]. We used to buy from Sears, but they want stupid money today.
