When they crack down on returns, we'll know why they did it. If you have zero intent to buy them from a company, don't abuse their generosity. This is what causes companies to cancel their helpful return policies.
If you are looking to use these as your daily bluetooth headphones, I would stay with XM4's. I have tried both and ended up returning the W40. Cables don't stay aroud your neck all the time.

jesus christ i JUST bought that deal on the WF-1000XM4 the other day, they haven't even arrived, but i know these are a lil bit more, but will most likely have much better sound, minus the sound cancellation.
I'm spending so much on headphone, but i cant pass this up
always wanted to see what the fuss was with 4 drivers instead of the 2 that I already have with my shure 425s..... now's a good of a time as any to give it a try !

Great price. The Bluetooth cable is indeed junk. I recommend pairing with a FiiO BTR3 or whatever small DAC they offer these days. fwiw, I rock these on my commute (train, subway) and the sound isolation is better than the noise reduction on any of my Bose.

I've had a pair of these for years without know such a Bluetooth receiver existed. Thanks for the tip I am going to order one tonight
Is there any in ear monitors with active noise cancelation. I have the shure se215 and feel like the only meaningful upgrade is anc. The bluetooth cable I have long battery life, 50 hours playback. If not for the poor battery life Otherwise I'd go for airpods pros.

Wow, considering Shure 215s are still $99 this is a very good price for solid in ear monitors
