I have it and highly recommend it if you know you'll use it. If you don't know, maybe buy an Alesis Nitro Mesh first.

This level of e-kit isn't something the average person would buy on a whim; you would have to be a serious drummer to buy this kit. And the resale value will remain solid for several years given the sale price.
This kit is either for home recording or practice kit. Why spend $3k on a practice kit? I just don't get it. I'm sure someone is going to respond and tell me they use it live all the time or record amazing demos on it. Great. You are 2% of the people who own these...
I ended up getting a pair of in-ears and muffling the crap out of my kit so I can play along with songs in my basement. Not quiet enough when kids sleeping... But I have a few pads for that...
Maybe this is something apartment dwellers like... But again... Why spend so much for practice...
Maybe I'm missing something... Don't get me wrong they sound amazing. Love the tech... But also remember... You will be upgrading this thing again and again over the years. New technology for pads, cymbals, and new "head units". I see it as a never ending cost.
Oh is this a good deal? Yes the price is solid for this unit. If you are in the market for this. Pull the trigger. You won't see if new for less for a while...

Anyway, I get your concerns and I've waffled back and forth with e-kit vs. acoustic over the years. In a perfect world, drummers should have both.
I have a Roland TD-27KV2, a Simmons Titan 50, a PDP acoustic kit, and a custom maple shell acoustic kit from Scott Rockenfield, and I'm still torn between two lovers, feeling like a fool... lol.
Roland e-drums hold their value amazingly well...especially when you buy current generation drums that have been refreshed recently, like this one. Anyone waiting for a better deal on these used will only save a few hundred bucks for a kit that will usually be beat to hell.

What's a decent pedal, HH stand, Snare Stand and throne for this?
Just want to buy something that's reasonably priced and good quality.
TIA
The hihat is its weakest link, but Gen 2 fixed that with the digital hihat.

Roc N Soc nitro throne (with backrest for me), and Yamaha HS700 series hi hat/snare stand should be fine for you, but don't cheap out on the throne and use a chair. You don't need heavy duty hi hat/snare stand if you're not gonna be gigging
