Title on best buys website says i5, but it's specifications say i7 in a few places. Does anyone know how to verify which it is?

Edit: Can confirm other websites list the same model (14m-dy1023dx) as an i5.

I just don't get it... I am not quite sure what people are bitching about and not liking this laptop. Very weird....

It has just about everything you can ask for at very reasonable price.

Two sodimm slots expandable to 64GB ram
one nvme M2 slot
one HDMI 2.0
one usb-c with Displayport and power delivery
backlit keys
1080p IPS touchscreen
intel Xe igpu
fingerprint reader

All this in a lightweight 14in format for a very reasonable price of $530..

WTF are people dreaming of nowaday? lol....
I challenge anyone to find a few more deals that have the above specs for $530 or less!

battery time is only 8.5h... seems like a mediocre duration.

Most likely an i5. BUT i am gonna tell you that the i5 and i7 G7 series are not that huge of a difference in speed. Maybe about 15% different in both cpu and igpu so it's not really worth the huge cost difference.
It is still a good deal even with the i5-1155G7

And AGAIN, y'all can complain all you want. But tell me again, where else can you get a 14in laptop with ALL these features here for less than $530?

That is actually not bad for this price range. if you want a bigger battery than 43whr, pay more for some other brands. Again, you are not going to find anything else with all the above features in a 14in laptop for less than $530!
