Struggled to pick between this one and Wharfedale D310 for $129 (https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/t/15520891) but got this Jamo in the end after going through a bunch of YouTube reviews. Hopefully it's the right choice.

How do these compare to the 803s that go on sale pretty often? About to close on a new house, want something small but better than a soundbar for our new living room that's open concept and has 19' ceilings where the TV will be located. Probably won't do surrounds due to the openness of the space

From the reviews that I've seen, the Concert C9 series sound is a step above the Studio S8 series. These C 91 IIs used to sell in the $3-400s not too long ago. But if you are looking at the 803s, those have bigger woofers, and would fit with their upward firing Atmos speakers.

These have a smaller woofer and lack the all important fake wood wave guide
