Amazon is offering additional discount at checkout to make the iPad (9th gen, 64gb) $289.99. I am guessing this is to price match Costco, which is running a sale at the same price. However, Amazon final price would be better if you have the Chase Freedom's 5% cashback available.

Was able to get a BB rep to price match the Microcenter deal a few days ago for a 256 iPad Air with the M1 for $599, but now I am wondering if I should get this instead. Can anyone tell a noticeable difference on performance between the two?

It will be mainly the purpose of using your ipads...if you just watch netflix and web browsing this is more than enough. Air will give you more power if you do some more productive work. Though if one need ipad for profesional work already gone with pro models

You wont notice much of a difference unless you play certain games and you do video editing. For regular use its fast enough. It all depends what u want to use it for

Gotta say I got this one a few months back and suuuuuper happy with it. Snappy, screen is great, and having 64gb onboard is plenty to not have to worry about offloading apps constantly.
Use for web browsing, couple lite games and movies. Love mine and use it every day!!

Which would you go for? $14.50 cash back from Chase, or pay extra $5 (shipping) with Costco and get extra year warranty? (total price diff $20).

Edit: with exec membership there is also 2% cb, so say $6 off. Differential is now ~$14.00

What about the new iPad mini? What do you think of that?

I went yesterday at BBY and saw the mini for the first time and LOVED the bezel less small form factor.

Aside from the look, would the mini be an overkill tablet for web browsing and YouTube?
