I hate these lights. They alert me to every bug flying and every leaf blowing. It doesn't matter how I adjust the settings. I don't recommend this item.

Per their website, it does not connect to the Homebase to store videos. However, they mentioned that they are working on backing up to a Homebase later on.

Really? I just changed mine to human detection only and lowest sensitivity settings and I get no false positives. I have three of these up. One over the garage, one behind the basement and under the deck, and another on the side of the house. If I took it off human detection only, I would get many false positives and some rabbits/chipmunks/racoons sometimes.

You must have the Eufy 4K. That floodlight is much better at avoiding false detections and does include human detection. The 1080P version does not have human detection as an option and is known for the issues I described.

I just checked my Amazon order history and it says "eufy Security Floodlight Camera, 1080p, No Monthly Fees, 2500 Lumens, Weatherproof, Built-in AI, 2021, Non-Stop Power (Existing Outdoor Wiring and Weatherproof Junction Box Required)," so not the 4K version but the 1080p version.

Not sure how you have human detection on a 1080p Eufy floodlight. If you read the reviews and also question section it say no human detection. Eufy even answers this to one of the questions. My app doesn't have it and is the most current version

Interesting. I believe it is the camera version. Wow....I bought mine in October 2020. Someone else had the same issue I read;

"Do multiple floodlights have separate icons on cell phone for individual control?

I have two floodlight cams, but I have only one Eufy icon on my phone for the Eufy app. In the app is a list of each camera I have based on the name I gave them ( garage, shop). I can bring each camera up live at anytime or look at recorded evens from the past. My newer cam has artificial intelligence that will tell you if it has spotted a human or something else. I get a lot of raccoons, deer and occasional bear. But if it is a person, it will tell me. "
