I thought the concern was more with freezing temperatures they would crack. I plan on bringing mine inside for the winter since I live in the northeast.

I bought these when they were $9.98 and thought they were a good deal.

I have never owned these. When you say that, what do you mean? I thought these kind of planters were made by subjecting them to extreme heat in the furnace. Thanks.

I bought these for $10 a couple months back. They are big and heavy. I hope they last through the summer heat.

These were knocked down to $10 from $15 before Mother's Day. Picked up 5 then. Guess I'm in for 5 more.

Not sure. I guess they could always crack under continuous heat? They do appear to be sturdy, but I have never owned these. I know some clay pots can crack for whatever reason.

Oh ok. I thought these type could last for years as long as nobody drops them from a height.

They will price adjust/match within 30 days of purchase. I was able to do 6 of mine purchased online for in-store pickup in May by calling HD customer service. They wouldn't adjust the price on the 6 I bought in April. If you bought in-store, I think you need to go to store with receipt for match.

They can break if they freeze full of soil.
