It can, in that lengthy description but confirmed in some reviews. Also have used a similar one, but you're able to cycle through manual off/on and brightness levels by tapping that sunlight icon near the top in this model

This does not work on dual outlets that does not have a screw hole between the outlets!

I own this and I didn't realize you could turn it off for like a week but you CAN. It's got 3 brightness setting and off. All use the photo sensor to turn it on and off except off of course. Hope that helps

Exactly! More rubbish destined for the trash bin or setting people's houses on fire. This kind of crap should be illegal. UL or ETL certification should be required for sale but Amazon and Slickdeals doesn't care.

I bought the black one. I would give it 3 stars as it doesn't screw into the outlet. This allows it to easily disconnect. I replaced the electrical outlet, but it stills comes out with relatively little force. This can be really annoying.
