Our friends who lives literally across the main street from us have AT&T Fiber, but the service is not available for us. What the hell? Did they just run their fiber up to across the street and say let's screw that whole neighborhood over there? It's literally only about 300ft away.

Used to pay $60 with equipment for 1G line that got increased to $70 a few months back. ATT has been raising price on that.

Do they have a map showing where it's available?
It least, you may get a clue, when it might be coming to where you live... Peace

I did also. I got a $200 gift card right away but I had to call them to get the other $100 gift card. You should call.

Is there a way to select a service start date? Only thing I'm seeing is they ship your kit immediately.

It is not fast, 12Mbps. I don't upload much and only one user, no gaming. I could see how that would help video conferencing, online backups, etc.

Does anyone know if you have to use their AT&T Internet Gateway w/ Wifi and use my own Google Wifi mesh? I can look it up the details, basically just need to know if AT&T will give me a non-wifi gateway.
You can configure the AT&T gateway for passthrough, turn off its WiFi, and use your Google mesh as router/WiFi

AT&T through costco is offering 300 Mbps speeds for $55/month. You get a costco shopping card for $250 and over and above that if you have an AT&T mobile network, then you get $10 off every month ($45/month) for internet. And once AT&T links your both accounts, AT&T sends you a $150/- giftcard. One of the executives got me registered without payments.

I had to file a complaint with the BBB to get my money (ordered service earlier this year) and it was still $100 short.

I tried this a month ago. They only sent me the original offer. Maybe I need to contact them.

Lot of reports on forums with people saying hard inquiries showed up with att name after they got service...I'd rather put a deposit down than have a hard inquiry. That's just my opinion
🤬🤬 It was definitely a hard pull. Score dropped 19 overnight, tf.

In 2018 you got 1 gig with HBO for $60/mo for 12 months and then $80/mo but grandfathered with HBO Max. Now you pay $80 with no HBO which is basically at least another $10-$15 price raise. The service has gotten more expensive with no increase in bandwidth or any improvements.

I see AT&T spun off HBO. Earlier, they had $10 Equipment fee which is now rolled into the plan. It's good that data cap is now removed on all plans, which is a big plus. I always had the service for $49.99/month and Facebook support (possibly retentions team) was able to extend my promo till March next year. I expect to lose my HBO Max next year. Let's see.
Ya...they keep raising the price and removing incentives...kind of shit. I don't NEED this yet...but I wonder if there will be better deals soon? Like Black Friday there would be better deals?

Was data cap recently removed?

My home A/C went out and I put the whole thing on a credit card to get the 2% cash back, and my credit score on credit karma went down 60 points. I guess it doubled or tripled my credit card usage overnight. The credit card bill is on full autopay and isn't even due yet. Not sure if 19 points matters much on these publicly calculated credit scores.
