Thanks SD peeps! Went ahead and bought a couple for our 2 week old boy. Really prefer the Kirkland formula, for the quality and price; hopefully they'll make it available online also

It's not. They used to be made by the same manufacturer but now all the generic are made by perrigo, and they're not the same quality. I tried it and my baby was constipated, so I switched back and no problem.

Formula is one of the most heavily regulated food products. If you're comparing apples to apples (protein type, etc.) for most standard formulas they are all very similar. Some babies need a few days to transition between types but most do quite well.
