The Walmart in Belleville, Michigan had the Garmin DriveSmart 55 with traffic EX GPS on clearance for $103.95. They had one in front at the clearance section and two in back at the clearance shelf in the electronics section. I picked one up. YMMV
They also had some other stuff like cd players ($10), HDMI adapters ($4), and SD card readers ($4).

Phones changed it all. However, I love using my old-old Garmin in my old-old car and it's been great! It's plugged to the lighter socket and I don't have to worry about moving it in and out, setting in a special holder etc. I load it with red light camera and speed camera database free from POI Factory, which works like a charm. Used Garmins w. life time maps usually cost dirt cheap on CL and such. $10 will get you a nice one on a good day.
Oh oh, here comes the 'who uses a stand alone gps now days?!?' comments.
I hate using my phone for GPS, it is never the same as a good dedicated system. Although my sister has the apple car system built into her new Jeep and it is pretty sweet.

Good updates on speed and red cameras. Free if you post comments there once in a while.
