The processor is equivalent to more or less to an 6th gen core i3 processor which is okay for basic tasks like browsing, streaming, documentation etc. Also, 8 GB RAM is a huge plus point at this price. The quality of the display is also very good for the price, almost 100% sRGB, 340 nits brightness. The garaged Wacom AES Pen is also very good at this price.

Duet 3i Window Laptop is not even listed in Lenovo USA site. If you go to Platform specification, go to the Input section.

Also, this exact model is not yet available in psref. But there are two other models for USA, with N5030, 8GB Ram and 128GB storage, Both of them are having the Lenovo Digital Pen included.

Nice deal, but I do not see anything in the listing or Duet 3i documentation about a pen or a garage.

This is very enticing. I have the old Lenovo Chromebook Duet and I love that thing. By far my biggest problem with it is the lack of expanded storage. I'm very nearly willing to replace it with this model just for that. It makes for an absolutely amazing comic reader and media consumption toy. The battery goes for 8 hours easy, even 2 years into owning it. The keyboard isn't exceptional but it's pretty good for being as thin as it is.

Try using Chrome OS Flex on this, good experiment actually and good way to utilize older windows laptops and tablets. I do have an old Dell Latitude 5285 tablet with core i7-7500U dual core CPU, 16gb ram and 256gb SSD, still plenty fast compared to these budget Chromebook and Windows tablet. but not so for Windows 11. After some research, finally able to made Chrome OS Flex work on that with everything working. I purchased that from Dell Refurbished Store at $300 with 1 Year warranty...So, pretty solid way to have a very powerful Chromebook. Just create a USB Restore disk in case you want to revert back to Windows. You can easily try Chrome OS Flex from a USB drive to do the testing 1st.

eMMc varies a lot. The Duet had slow eMMc but it was still far faster than a hard drive. Some of these are nearly as fast as a SSD. I wish the specs said which gen it was.

I thought 32GB/64GB were mostly eMMC and you get SSD for 128GB or above.

At first I thought it was a Chromebook when I saw the name Duet, but surprised to see Lenovo introducing these versions for Windows outside of their X12 detachable, which is now marked down significantly. Decent deal for sure.

I think I did mention it in the secp section. It is eMMC 5.1. It has max read speed around 250 MB/s and max write speed around 130 MB/s which is not very faster than the fast 7200 RPM HDDs with 128MB Cache ,in paper. But the sustained performance and the Random R/W speeds are far faster than any mechanical drive and it feels far snappy because the way Windows 10 and Windows 11 are designed (Solid State Storage in mind).
I have experience with some Chinese brands like Chuwi , aldocube and used laptops with their 7th Gen Y series Laptops. Those normally come with 128GB eMMC storage with one SSD slot. I have used Windows from those eMMC and they are far faster than any mechanical drive.

There are so such distinction based storage capacity. Both are Solid State and I have seen eMMC 5.1 storage as large as 256GB.

Thank you. This is what I found about this version:
"The current standard for eMMC storage is v5.1A, which can effectively deliver transfer speeds of up to about 400MB/s. That's not necessarily slow, and SATA SSDs will top out around the same."
Now it is slower than a M.2 NVME.

These 3i tablets were released in 2020, close to the same time as the Chromebook Duet. They are now marked down significantly. There is a new more powerful, larger (12.35"), and $$$(starting at $750) Duet 5i being released next month.

I understand. I meant - typically I have seen Lenovo using eMMC for lower storage sizes, but uses standard SSD drives for 128 or higher. This was the case for Duet Chromebook. I was just surprised to see 128GB eMMC being used here.
