Wish I could see the future. Bought this tv for the $2300 deal a month ago that we thought was insane. Samsung won't do anything for you after the 15 day return period. No adjustments. Oh well.

The tv is absolutely gorgeous. Jump on this deal if you need a big bright tv.
I think this is a good deal who want to go through credit check, have house closing soon so dont want credit hit. will keep my 85" + tab a8 offer for 1960+tax
I go this TV recently and its the most brightest TV i have ever seen. I have a fairly large living room with big windows but man this TV still burn my eye balls. My wife wasn't happy but she saw the Hobbit trilogy on it and she is super impressed. For the price this is an absolute beast of a TV.

Nope and you have to be an active student I believe (ID.me). Just having edu email won't work. I wish I could get this pricing as well.

Really, the deal has two parts:
1) TV at discount
2) Free Samsung Care+ service bundle on top

Once you add it to your cart, if your account has EPP, then the pricing will change to the lower amount

Got the 75 inch version. This was in my shortlist along with Sony X95j. At this price I can live with not having Dolby Vision.

how do you sign up for the access subscription?
On the items page where you select it, your options and such the line where you can select how you pay: up front, 4 payments or monthly...just scroll a little more and you'll the see the subscription option. It will show at a higher price but once you pick your free bonus subscription (YouTube, showtime, etc) and add to your cart the price will drop

Can someone nudge me in a direction. I keep debating this vs. the OLED deals around $2300 for 77". Yes, OLED deals aren't there anymore but I am sure they'll come up again. Downside I see with OLED is screen burn from LG so thinking about getting the Sony. But then again I have many windows in a bright room so Samsung might be better option. But then again I watch TV only at nighttime so reflection isn't a problem. I am just so confused.

I've spent hours and multiple trips to Best Buy to compare. For me the 85 absolutely dwarfs the 77 so in my big family room the additional size is a huge difference and much more immersive vs my current 65" flagship model. I personally started comparing the 83" C1 OLED to the 85 QN90a at $3400 for the OLED and $1780 for the QLED Samsung. The remote on the Samsung is cooler, the LG OLED hs 4 2.1 HDMIs with is a huge benefit.

Long story short if you have a light controlled room with minimal windows and sunlight or do 80% of your viewing after sundown the OLED is the way to go(especially the 83A90J.

If your like me and have a room with 16 windows and and tons of natural light and reflections along with lots of daytime use you will appreciate the qleds ability to be super bright. Also the price to performance on these q90As right now is untouchable.
