Wow, that's an incredible price! We love our robot vacuum. The tab that locks the dustbin in place broke on ours awhile back, and because the dustbin was backordered, they just replaced the entire vacuum. 😳 Vacuum sometimes has weird pathfinding around obstacles. The map sometimes gets messed up, but we resolve it by just picking the unit up and putting it back on the charger, and it corrects itself. 99% of the time, we send it out to vacuum, forget about it completely, and come back to clean floors! We have mostly wood floors, but previously had carpet, and it's done great on both, in our experience.

Just felt like posting because we really like ours, so call me a Robot Vacuum evangelist, I guess. lol

I wouldn't touch this. I wanted to buy this around Black Friday but stumbled upon this thread.

https://forums.wyzecam.com/t/robo.../183918/19

It's an ongoing issue that wyze won't address.

There seems to be lots of 1* around mapping being off, any experience here on that front?

Also, is it self cleaning? I don't see docking station in the image with auto clean suction.

Appreciate your response as it would determine whether to take the plunge or not

I've only had mapping issues when beta testing, never when on production firmware.
It is NOT self-cleaning.

Trying robot vacuums almost after a decade. All I know from past experience is I absolutely hated cleaning these, and I'm lazy 😁

Any recommendation for a model with self cleaning?

great price for this.... but for those who have had a vacuum that auto-empties, you can't go back to this type.

What is the point of these small robot vacuums? Just for people too lazy to bring out their cordless vacuum from time to time?
Imagine waking up every morning and your whole house already being vacuumed. Definitely worth the investment.

I've never used the Eufy vacuums, but in my experience, my wyze has only gotten stuck once when it went under a media center that caught the lidar sensor. Since putting a "no-go zone" in that area, it's never gotten stuck. It's fantastic because it's systematic, vs the random robots. It's been a long time coming, but they're supposedly going to offer multi-level mapping and spot cleaning. I love mine. Tempting to buy one for upstairs at this price, but I'll have to pass cuz money is tight
I signed up for the Beta program and have had multi-level mapping for a while.
