certain rubber and vinyl compounds react so I guess there is some vinyl in the carpet fibers or backing the wheels are reacting with. (source: https://forums.wyzecam. |

TIA
I think there are two common problems. They're separate but can happen together.
1) trouble docking. especially if the dock is on carpet, the robot will struggle or fail to dock at a very high rate. This can be fixed with a little mat - they actually sent me one for free randomly when I complained about the other issue.
2) permanent damage to the floor being cleaned. This CAN happen by the dock - and if you experience #1 it gives lots of opportunity to happen by the dock - but CAN HAPPEN ANYWHERE it vacuums. My problem was not near the dock.
These are both issues reported by a lot of people (someone linked to a forum thread with tons of them).
In my earlier post I mentioned supplies but someone said there are readily available generics, you should be fine with replaceables. Since it's cloud based, I'd still be a little weary of the company losing interest or discontinuing the product.
instead. I have concerns, but hopefully I won't have to return it

It arrived and is sitting in the box on the floor… no way to tell what's inside. Gaa! I kinda want to try it, but maybe will just drive it back to Walmart…
