Wow, that's an incredible price! We love our robot vacuum. The tab that locks the dustbin in place broke on ours awhile back, and because the dustbin was backordered, they just replaced the entire vacuum. 😳 Vacuum sometimes has weird pathfinding around obstacles. The map sometimes gets messed up, but we resolve it by just picking the unit up and putting it back on the charger, and it corrects itself. 99% of the time, we send it out to vacuum, forget about it completely, and come back to clean floors! We have mostly wood floors, but previously had carpet, and it's done great on both, in our experience.

Just felt like posting because we really like ours, so call me a Robot Vacuum evangelist, I guess. lol

I wouldn't touch this. I wanted to buy this around Black Friday but stumbled upon this thread.

It's an ongoing issue that wyze won't address.

I can confirm the tires on this one leaving marks/ tracks. It does so on all sort of floors- carpet, LVP and hardwood floors. Also as another SDer mentioned, when it's stuck, say trying to climb something, it leaves marks. I've got used to setting no go zones to stop it from leaving tracks. Other than that, not much complaints.

Speaking of which, anyone knows where to get replacement filter for the trash compartment?

While true in many cases, it fails when the rooms are laid out in an semi open floor plan
You were using the old version of the app. My first floor is a completely open floor plan with no walls. When it mapped, it showed the entire floor as 1 big room. I had to manually split the rooms and named each room. Now I can point it to only clean 1 specific room.

didn't work here on desktop or mobile. possibly targeted?

EDIT: Looks like the code is meant for pickup orders, so guessing it doesn't work on shipping (none of these are available for pickup near me)

That's strange. I used it for shipping on desktop.

Just received mine on Friday. Room setup was a breeze! It mapped my open floor house pretty well and then I went in and split out the rooms. This is my first robot vacuum and it's a life changer! Setting schedules is simple and regular maintenance is easy to understand. No black wheel marks on my hardwood floors. Would recommend!

That vacuum is $200+ more, not fair to compare. It's like asking if a landcruiser is better than a rav4.

I've bought 3 of these and they all work great. It is faster than my roomba i6 and the battery lasts longer. It isn't as good in long carpet but does a good job overall. I've had one run on weekdays on a 3000sq foot layout for about 15 months with no issues.

Meh. Tiny stain spots from plastic sitting on some finishes? Just be aware of it and put it on tile or linoleum or a piece of cardboard or something.

There's some more detailed reviews in past slickdeals listings for the iHome AutoVac Nova.

I recently bought both, the Wyze and iHome. I prefer the iHome for the self-clearing vacuum base and mop attachment.

Although, I do notice that it gets stuck when transitioning onto floormats/carpets that are about 1/2inch thick. So I had to set no-go zones.

Ihome has a better and more customizable user interface. Wyze seems to be more "clean" and less prone to errors though.
