Wow, that's an incredible price! We love our robot vacuum. The tab that locks the dustbin in place broke on ours awhile back, and because the dustbin was backordered, they just replaced the entire vacuum. 😳 Vacuum sometimes has weird pathfinding around obstacles. The map sometimes gets messed up, but we resolve it by just picking the unit up and putting it back on the charger, and it corrects itself. 99% of the time, we send it out to vacuum, forget about it completely, and come back to clean floors! We have mostly wood floors, but previously had carpet, and it's done great on both, in our experience.

Just felt like posting because we really like ours, so call me a Robot Vacuum evangelist, I guess. lol

I wouldn't touch this. I wanted to buy this around Black Friday but stumbled upon this thread.

https://forums.wyzecam.com/t/robo.../183918/19

It's an ongoing issue that wyze won't address.

I bought this at $200. Love this vacuum. This is an even better price at $165 for an excellent vacuum.

Picked this up, I am very impressed with the mapping functionality. Long time Roomba user, albeit several year old model, and this is far more advanced and so far it seems to clean well.

DON'T BUY!! They don't include the dock or transformer. Both are required to use the vacuum. It's a paperweight unless you already have the dock & transformer or can order them at Wyze.
Is this true? They sell a vacuum without a dock and expect you to purchase separately?

It appears that multi-floor capability was added in a beta version of the firmware that is no longer available.
That's because they moved it to the live app version.

Wow wtf. I was just about to pull the trigger but not if it's going to ruin my floors....
Oh wow, now I need to check this when I get home, as I see its staining carpet as well, basically wherever it is docked.

Not true, mine included a dock and power adapter. The dock is nicer than my Roomba one IMO.

Mine was new in box with transformer and dock. Sounds like someone may have received a returned item that was missing parts.

I received the vacuum yesterday and was able to turn off the voice announcements by turning on Do Not Disturb. I don't have the beta, just the normal app.

Go to Settings > Do Not Disturb > Turn Off Voice Prompts
I just got mine also. I have the latest firmware: 1.6.113, but I have no Do Not Disturb setting. Beta no longer available.

I bought 2 last week reading the comments here. Overall, it's a decent product but I have to say it's pretty trash at avoiding obstacles! It went over my cat food box and cat water box which are substantially large in size. In general, it just does not avoid any obstacles besides walls.
This doesn't have object avoidance. Nowhere is that listed

What comparative products that are better at this price???
Wyze is a good one at this price. I would not pick anything which is not LIDAR. I have also used Ecovas n8 and its much better, quiter than Wyze/ But its more expensive. At this price, I will not hesitate to get Wyze.

It's on a hard wood flooring. I did have to tape it down around the edges because it kept pushing it up while docking.

Bought two and used for two days, cleans well. But what they say in forums are true. The wheels are cheap quality rubber and they do make a stain on the floor. Very low quality ones. I don't know what to do? Wheels are same size as roborock ones, may be I will try to replace them🤔.
